The Masterclass in Advanced ECG

Bienvenue dans la magnifique Strasbourg !

For the FIRST time, the Masterclass in Advanced Electrocardiography will take place September 21 – 24, 2026 in Strasbourg, France. Classes are limited to a maximum of 20 participants, creating an interactive and highly personalized learning experience.

$999.00

/ per participant

Presented by Jerry W. Jones, MD FACEP FAAEM
Internationally recognized author and instructor.

All presentations are conducted in English. Travel, meals and lodging not included.

Where serious clinicians come to elevate their practice—and find confidence when needed most!

Intimate Class Size

Classes are limited to just a small number of participants seated in a private conference room. Everyone addresses each other by name, and the atmosphere is casual with regular breaks every hour.

Active Participation

Participants will actively participate in the interpretation of complex ECGs during the class while the instructor guides and assists with the significant findings. You can ask questions at any time, and the experience is often described as “almost like private tutoring.”

Materials Provided

Each participant receives a program manual that includes lecture notes, ECGs, and rhythm strips used during the class. In addition, participants receive ECG calipers, a 3× magnifying lens, and a straight-edge strip for aligning deflections on ECG tracings.

A Truly Advanced Curriculum... NOT a warmed-over review of basics!

Typical advanced ECG courses revisit foundational material. This Masterclass is designed for clinicians who already understand the fundamentals and are ready to move decisively beyond them. Remember: when someone’s LIFE is in YOUR hands… introductory knowledge and skill just isn’t good enough!

Why this matters for your real‑world practice

  • If you rely on memorized patterns, you don’t truly understand what you’re seeing. And when a pattern doesn’t look exactly like the one you memorized, you will miss it.
  • You were trained to recognize problems under ideal conditions. But real patients rarely present under ideal conditions.
  • If you cling to the STEMI paradigm, you will miss ~40% of complete occlusions that urgently need revascularization. Those patients don’t get a second chance.
  • You can spot the obvious MI—but can you spot the subtle one? The one that doesn’t “follow the rules”? The one that kills people quietly?
  • Most dysrhythmias don’t have names. If you only know the named ones, you might pass a test—but you may fail in real‑life situations.

This Masterclass teaches you to think, not memorize. To interpret, not guess. To diagnose, not hope.

Active participation - you are not just an audience!

This is not a lecture. It’s not a YouTube video. It’s not a passive experience.

You will spend 10 full hours actively interpreting complex ECGs—with Dr. Jerry W. Jones guiding, prompting, challenging, and supporting you every step of the way.

What this means for your learning

  • You will never get stuck or embarrassed—Dr. Jones keeps you moving forward.
  • Mistakes are not just allowed—they’re celebrated. They mean you’re learning.
  • “I don’t know” is treated as a potential for growth, not failure.
  • Nothing in a book or video prepares you for the real thing. Participation is the only path to mastery.

This is the closest you can get to real‑time clinical decision‑making without being in the emergency department.

small class size | more attention!

Large auditorium lectures are designed for convenience, not mastery.

In this Masterclass

  • Ask questions anytime – no need to wait until the end of the presentation
  • Get personalized guidance – Dr. Jones is available during breaks and after lunch
  • Interact directly with your instructor
  • Stay engaged from start to finish
  • Develop discussions with the other participants

A small class means you’re not just another face in the room—you’re an active participant. With fewer clinicians, every question gets airtime, every case gets dissected, and every learner gets direct, personalized feedback. The pace is sharper, the dialogue richer, and the learning deeper. It’s the fastest way to turn complex ECG patterns into confident, real‑world decisions.

Don't just read the ECG... Interpret it!

You already know the basics; now the work is understanding why a tracing looks the way it does. Interpretation connects mechanism to morphology, linking the ECG to the physiology unfolding in the patient. It’s about reasoning, not recall — building a mental model instead of memorizing shapes. In this course, you’ll sharpen that skill through active analysis, guided questions, and real clinical logic. This is where ECGs stop being pictures and start becoming information you can use.

The reduced enrollment fees cannot last forever. Take advantage of them while you can because they will increase later this year.

Our hotel is located conveniently in the historic old part of the city which is very scenic and accessible to cafes, restaurants and wine bars.
