BE A PARTICIPANT...
NOT JUST AN AUDIENCE!

Welcome to the “Rolls-Royce of advanced ECG courses” as a former participant described us. You will have the same instructor throughout the course and you will participate in the interpretation of complex ECGs - during the class - while the instructor guides and assists you with the significant findings. No other course challenges you with such active participation - up to 14 hours of advanced ECG interpretation. Dr. Jones will be teaching the course and he is available each evening by phone, email or text messaging until 10 pm should you have any questions after class.

A TRULY ADVANCED
CURRICULUM

All our scheduled courses are advanced. This is NOT a review course! Participants should already have at least an intermediate level of skill in reading and interpreting 12-lead ECGs and should have been reading them for at least two years. The only time spent on the “basics” is in clearing up some frequent misconceptions. Click HERE to view the four-day curriculum.

CLASS MATERIALS
PROVIDED!

To make certain that each student has the materials needed to properly read and interpret the 12-lead ECGs, we provide a program manual that includes not only the notes for the individual lectures but copies of the ECGs and rhythm strips you will be interpreting during the class. In addition, you receive a set of ECG calipers, a 3X magnifying lens and a straight-edge strip for aligning deflections on the ECG tracing. An extensive Program Manual and discussions of all the ECGs are available for download at no extra expense from this website. You will be sent a password after enrollment in the boot camp.

CONTINUING MEDICAL
EDUCATION ACCREDITATION

CME Credit

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of American Medical Seminars and Medicus of Houston. American Medical Seminars is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation

Physicians: American Medical Seminars designates this live activity for a maximum of 28 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Paramedics: 14.0 CAPCE-approved CEUs will be awarded to paramedics completing the course.

Note to Nurse Practitioners: Nurse practitioners can apply for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). AANP will accept AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ from Jointly Accredited Organizations. Nurse practitioners can also apply for credit through their state boards.

ATTENTION NURSES, NURSE PRACTITIONERS
AND PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS...

For the purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education).

For the purposes of recertification, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ issued by organizations accredited by ACCME.

The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) content is developed for physicians to address medical and health care specialties. Accredited CME providers may issue documentation of participation in an activity to non-physicians specifying the number of hours of participation. 1 CME = 1 contact hour.

INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS!

International licensing bodies vary in how they recognize continuing education, so acceptance of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ depends on each country’s rules. Many regions—including parts of the Middle East, Canada, and Asia—do accept AMA credits for license renewal or professional development, while others require locally accredited CPD systems. International participants should check with their own medical council or licensing authority to confirm whether AMA credits can be applied toward their specific renewal requirements.

PLEASE NOTE!

You cannot take call for your practice and participate in the class at the same time. While I understand that there may be an occasional phone call that must be answered, you cannot manage your practice while in the class. Attempting to do so creates an unacceptable disruption in the flow of the presentations and an inconvenience for the rest of the participants.

SUBSTANTIAL DISCOUNTS FOR GROUPS
AND RETURNING PARTICIPANTS

Groups of 3 or more participants pay only $899.00 per person!

Returning participants - including those who took the course before the name changed to Masterclass in Advanced Electrocardiography (formerly the Advanced ECG Interpretation Boot Camp) - may repeat the course as many times as they want for only $799.00.

For YOUR Convenience...

Because so many of the participants in my Masterclasses are near the beginning of their careers, finances may be a major factor in choosing a CME course. Therefore, all my courses are held in hotels that are less expensive than the usual venues for other CME courses. I don't consider $275.00/night a "discounted" rate! I select hotels in areas that are safe, easily accessible and which offer amenities like breakfast and free Wi-Fi. And they are very nice hotels, either part of a nationally-recognized brand or a highly-recommended and interesting boutique hotel.
