Does the thought of a complicated dysrhythmia intimidate you?

Would you like to feel more comfortable distinguishing the different types of wide complex tachycardias?

Which methods and algorithms are best for wide complex tachycardias?

Can the Brugada Algorithm be made simpler to use?

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about an entirely new way to experience classroom learning and academic lectures. At Medicus of Houston, we strive to keep up with the changing requirements for acquiring knowledge and instruction. As we enter the era of the webinar, we find that education can continue without a physical presence in a conference facility. This has advantages and disadvantages. I am happy to announce that I will continue to offer webinars even after I am able to return to live, in-person presentations. However, the major courses - the Advanced ECG Interpretation Boot Camp, The Masterclass in Advanced Electrocardiography and The Masterclass in Advanced Dysrhythmias - will remain live, in-person presentations only.

The reason most people feel uncomfortable with – and intimidated by – wide complex tachycardias is because they never bothered to learn the things they must know before attempting to diagnose them!

Look for a repeat of our live - Wide Complex Tachycardias - webinar this summer! This will be a comprehensive discussion of how to diagnose supraventricular tachycardias with aberration as opposed to ventricular tachycardia. As you may know already, there are different types of ventricular tachycardia. We will be discussing the diagnosis of regular, monomorphic VT. This webinar will last four hours and will be presented on two consecutive days - approximately two hours each day with a 15 minute break between each one-hour session.

The webinar will be presented via ZOOM and will be in English. There will be a lot of material covered so questions will not be taken during the live presentation but I will be happy to answer any and all questions sent to me by email, up to one week after the event. Materials will be sent to each participant shortly before each presentation. Everyone will be encouraged to take copious notes.

Future webinars on the topic of ventricular tachycardia will include fascicular tachycardias, bundle branch reentrant tachycardias, polymorphic VT (including torsade de pointes), catecholaminergic paroxysmal ventricular tachycardia and right and left ventricular outflow tract tachycardias. As you can see, ventricular tachycardia is a very broad topic!

Most webinars will last one or two hours. Presentation of introductory material will be in one hour sessions. Intermediate to advanced level presentations will last one or two hours. CME credit will be provided when possible.

The cost for this unique webinar opportunity is $59.99 USD. The cost of the webinar includes downloadable materials to follow along and AMA PRA Category 1 credit (or applicable certificate of attendance)! The number of credit hours will be announced soon.

Let me be very clear...
This is a wonderful and unique opportunity to learn from an internationally-recognized authority in advanced ECG education!
